Book Review: Dirty Words on Clean Skin

Dirty Words on Clean Skin: Sexism and Sabotage, a Hillary Supporter’s Rude Awakening is an incredible look at the horrendous treatment of Hillary Clinton during the 2008 primaries by not only mainstream media and pundits, but also by her own party. The author, Anita Finlay, is a Democrat who takes her party to task for the egregious sexism within their own ranks, and later defends Republican women against the media’s degrading onslaught. It doesn’t matter what the reader’s political affiliation is, this book will resonate with anyone who cares about what it means to live in a full democracy.
